What is mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a treatment that helps reduce cellulite and localized fat by breaking down adipose tissue and promoting weight loss.
It works by injecting levocarnitine, which helps dissolve fat that is later eliminated naturally through urine.

Levocarnitine is a naturally occurring compound in the human body. It plays a key role in fat metabolism by transporting fatty acids into the mitochondria of cells, where they are converted into ATP (adenosine triphosphate) — the energy our body uses every day.

This procedure involves the application of microinjections directly into the skin, working on three levels:

• Cellular: Stimulates fat cells (adipocytes) to release stored fat.

• Vascular: Improves local and systemic microcirculation.

• Lymphatic: Aids in the drainage of toxins through the lymphatic system.

By using higher doses of carnitine, the body is encouraged to burn fat for energy instead of sugars. This not only reduces fat but also helps lower muscle fatigue and improve recovery time after physical activity.

Mesotherapy does not require local anesthesia. The procedure is painless and has no serious side effects. Some mild redness, swelling, or occasional bruising at the injection site may occur — this is completely normal and temporary.
